CHAMPS PANTHERS 12U RED

The New York Panthers 12U Red team won the Pony National Qualifier Championship at the Flemington Flames Fathers Day Fling Tournament this past weekend.  The team had no losses and played excellent defense and offense throughout the weekend.  Toni-ann Canova was the Tournament MVP going 16 for 18.

Seeding Round on Saturday

NY Panthers Red vs. Junction Girls             8 - 0

Nicole Palase pitched an 8-0 win against the Junction Girls.  Alyssa Scudero and Jackie Bonamassa scored two runs and Victoria Gurrieri had two hits and threw out three runners attempting to steal.

NY Panthers Red vs. Hillsborough Hustle             9 - 2

Kayla Hill pitched a 9-2 win against the Hillsborough Hustle.  Toni-ann Canova went 3 for 3, Amanda Barrese had two hits and Danielle Doscher hit a 3 run home run.

NY Panthers Red vs. Readington Rampage            15 - 0

Danielle Doscher pitched a 15-0 win against the Readington Rampage.  The Panther bats exploded for 15 hits in the victory.

Elimination Round on Sunday

NY Panthers Red vs. Readington Rampage            20 - 3

Kayla Hill pitched a 20 – 3 win against the Readington Rampage.  Toni-ann Canova and Danielle Doscher went 4 for 4.

NY Panthers Red vs. West Milford Extreme            19 - 3

Kayla Hill pitched a 19 – 3 win against the West Milford Extreme.  Tara Gallo and Brittany Smith had 2 hits and Christine Penna went 3 for 3.

Championship Game

NY Panthers Red vs.  Flemington Flames                        5 - 1

Nicole Palase pitched a 5 – 1 win in the Championship game against the Flemington Flames.  Alyssa Scude hit a triple and Victoria Gurrieri had two hits and threw out two runners attempting to steal.
