The NY Panthers 16U Blue finished 2nd in the BP All-Stars Pony qualifier, earning a bid to the Pony Nationals.

After losing 3-1 to the Long Island Riptide Blue in their opening game, the Panthers beat the Syosset Blaze behind Danielle Ponsiglione's 5 strikeout no-hitter and the offensive support of Destiny Ocasio and Tamara Doherty. Katie Munks excelled defensively in centerfield.
Jaclyn Senzino's 15 strikeout 1 hitter closed out the day for the Panther Blue as Destiny Ocasio (2 hits) continued her hot hitting and Danielle Ponsiglione added 3 hits.
On Sunday, The Panthers began the day with a 9-0 victory over the Syosset Blaze behind Ally Chiaramonte's 2 hit gem. Tamara Doherty, Samantha Wagner and Nicole Bifulco led the offense.
In the 2nd game of the day, Jaclyn Senzino sizzled, pitching a no-hitter and striking out 13 for the victory. Kathryn Pallonetti's base running and Amanda D'Amato's catching were key contributions to the win.
In the semi-finals, the Panthers avenged Saturdays loss with a 2-0 win over the top seeded L.I. Riptide Blue. Rachel Schafler's ability to change speeds baffled the Riptide as Jillian Rini's monstrous home run broke a scoreless tie.
In the championship game, the Panthers battled toe to toe with the always tough BP All-Stars (Angel) before falling 2-1, despite stellar pitching from Jaclyn Senzino and Ally Chiaramonte.
